  • Once you’ve got in touch, one of the teams will come back to you to organise an initial catch up.

This could be either a phone call, video call or face to face depending on your circumstances and whatever works best for you.

Of course, if there are any government restrictions in place we will need to take these into consideration too.

  • Everything begins with a simple conversation. We need to get to know a bit about you and your journey to this point. We’re not here to judge … simply listen and get a feel for where you are and where we might best be able to help you.

  • At some point we need to get a proper understanding of your needs … these maybe immediate - such as getting a debt payment sorted … or they could be longer term - such as getting yourself back together before looking to get back into regular employment.

  • Having established that we have, within the project, some options to support you, we begin exploring next steps … what’s needed, in what order and from where?

  • Once we have agreed what needs to be done, we need to agree some actions … who’s going to do what and by when.

You should recognise that steps don’t need to be big! They can be seemingly small … such as getting on a bus for the first time … or large such as attending an interview.

Whatever plan we jointly develop will be tailored around your circumstances and personal situation and will be both tangible and realistic.

  • Once we’ve set you off on your first step, we won’t let go of you … we will agree a means and process for keeping in touch and tracking how you’re getting on … offering further support and guidance as you need it.
