somewhere to connect

Social connection and interaction as the lifeblood of humanity and community. Everyday we see simple acts of human contact bring people alive … their eyes brighten, their bodies relax and smiles emerge.

This doesn’t mean you have to belong to a group, or engage in lengthy conversations with people you don’t know … it can just mean saying hello when you come in and goodbye when you leave. Or it can mean making someone a tea or offering someone a biscuit.

Everyone has their reason for coming into our Hub but what we do know is that for many, this is the only social contact they have outside their home … and they love it!
